Top 10 Blogging Tips (Part 2) - Collab with Kaila

This week Kaila ( makeupbykaila.com ) and I decided to do a collab blog post! Kaila is so nice and kind, and I love her blog and her Twitter ( twitter.com/makeupbykaila ) so much! Kaila and I both followed each other on Twitter and started reading each other's blogs around a month ago. Then we  started chatting on Twitter and decided we would have to post a collab! We both have been blogging for a good amount of time now and decided for the blog post we would post our "Top 10 Blogging Tips," 5 tips on her blog, 5 tips on mine!  1.) Write just the right amount!   📚 If you write too much in a post readers can become uninterested and just click out. Keeping post around 400 - 800 words can really help to keep a reader and keep them clicking around your blog! I'm not saying write extremely short all the time just keep in mind that people are probably coming to your blog for shorter, interesting posts! 2.) Write about things you like!   📖 If you are ...

My Top 3 Favorite Things in My Room!

+Kya Hulley  has asked me to write a blog post about my top 3 favorite thing that I have in my room. I thought this would be a fun post to write and I love sharing the things I find, that I love! So here we go, My Top 3 Favorite Things in My Room!  ---------- 1.) Candle Collection :  In my opinion, a person can never have too many candles. I like to keep at least 10 candles in my room at all times, because I like options in what scent I want! My favorite scents are lilac, maple, and anything fresh and Chrismas (I'm sorry, I know its mid-June, but Christmas cookies and fresh, fallen snow smell good 24/7).  2.) Winnie the Pooh Stuffed Animals :  Ok. I understand I might be 19 years old, but you can never have too many stuffed animals! Also these have a special meaning behind them. Every time I go to Disney I get one of these Winnie the Pooh Stuffed Animals to remind me of the trip! Winnie the Pooh was also my favorite book series and movies a...

Q & A with Kya!

Here is a new blog post where Kya ( kyahblog.blogspot.com ) asked me questions and I answered them! Go check out her blog too, because I asked her question and she answered them there! Hope you enjoy!  Kya : Why are you such a flop? I'm joking. How are you? How's life treating you? My answer : Omg typical Kya, what a flop. ;) I have been doing great! I can't wait for my classes to end and summer to really start, but I'm doing great!  ---------- Kya : What are your three favorite things to do in your room and why? My answer : My favorite thing to do in my room is lay in my bed, snuggle up in the blankets and binge watch YouTube videos! Second, would be sitting down on my bed with a good book and read from anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Anymore than an hour and I feel like you really stop focusing as much and you don't enjoy the book as much! (Now I'm not saying you can't do this multiple times a day, but not more than...

Ready for Summer (2016)

Even though its technically not Summer yet, its been in the mid 80's for the past couple weeks, so I qualify that as Summer! Late Spring/Early Summer is my favorite time of the year, it's just getting sunny, the lilacs (my favorite flower) and other flowers are blooming, and people seem to just be happier.  Summer scents are always my favorite, because they tend to be so light and fresh. As recommend by  +Zoella  I had to go into The Body Shop and check out the Piñita Colada scent line. Obviously, I absolutely love the Body Butter, but the whole line smells fantastic. Being able to open the doors of my house and let the natural, crisp air flow through my house makes me very relaxed and happy, adding on to why this time of the year is amazing.  Summer fashion is also great, because it can be so stripped down and casual. In the Winter time you have to make all your different layers work together with everything else a...

Hiking / Fitness (Summer 2016)

I have decided that this summer I want to start exercising more, specifically hiking! I want to see all the beautiful view that my state has to offer and since I am terrible at most sports hiking isn't extremely hard, plus its really fun! I have completed three hikes so far this summer, but I want to complete at least 15. The pictures included are all from the second hike I completed this year. This hike was an easy/medium hike with about an hour and 20 minute round trip. It was so much fun and it was a great day for a hike! It was about 72 degrees Fahrenheit, very slightly breezy and partially sunny. This was right at the beginning of the summer, so very few flowers had started blooming on the mountain, but it was extremely green and lush. If you haven't tried hiking before I highly recommend giving it a go! It's such an amazing experience and a good form of exercise. Also bringing a friend along to chat/hike with can also improve the experience immen...

@PsychoBabbleFan (Kya)

I've only made a couple internet friends in my life, but Kya is definitely my closest. I don't know if we go a day without talking and we always have 100 things to talk about. She is always kind and supportive of everything I do and I am so happy we are friends.  twitter.com/PsychoBabbleFan   instagram.com/kya_h94/ Kya and I met because of the best podcast ever #PsychoBabble (Thanks +Tyler Oakley  and  +koreykuhl )! It was after one episode of the podcast, specifically episode PB 79: Speaking of Things We're Talking About..., and we were the first two people to tweet about the podcast. I don't rememebr who liked the other person's tweet first, but we both liked each others tweets. After that we followed each other, I messaged her on the same day and we started chatting. We now have talked pretty much every day since then going on three months now! Thanks Kya for being such an amazing friend, I hope we stay friends for forever and hopefully get to vis...
