PointlessBlog [PB] Merch Notepad Review (Alfie Deyes)

I am a huge fan of YouTube, but one of my favorite creators is Alfie Deyes or PointlessBlog [PB].  youtube.com/user/PointlessBlog His content is fun, happy, and he puts out such a positive energy. Whether that be his main channel sit down videos, his daily vlogs, or his gaming channel, I do really enjoy all of his content. So, when I ordered his PB Notepad I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. pointlessblogshop.com From just the look and feel of the notepad, the quality is amazing and its seems to be very sturdy. I use it to write down notes that I want to remind myself to do later, what homework I have to do, and ideas for new blog posts, so I don't forget them by the time I get to writing them.  I also really like Alfie's idea for his merchandise of being a way for fans to connect. If you walk down the street in one of Alfie's hoodies most people, even youtube fans, wouldn't know what the PB stands for. It doesn't have his face plastered all ...

Morning and Night Skin Care

This week I wanted to write a short blog post about what I use for my skin care. I use other products, but I thought I would just write about my morning/daily face moisturizer and my night face moisturizer. I have been using both of these products for a couple months and have fell in love with both of them. I would say I have normal skin and both of these products don't over or under moisturize my face. Also neither of these products leave my oily which is my favorite part. Origins "Mega Bright SPF 30" Day Cream Burt's Bees "Radiance" Night Cream First, I want to talk about Origins "Mega Bright with SPF 30" day cream. This product has helped my skin tremendously. It cleared up my post acne spots, so quickly, without any scaring or cleared up any scars I had. In my teen years I had a lot of acne and acne scarring all over my face and this product has completely cleared up my spots. I also like that this day cream ke...

Ski Season 2015/2016

This winter I really got back into skiing again after not skiing for about two or three years. Even though the weather was not great for skiing this year, with the warmer temperatures and rain, I did have an amazing time.  I believe, by the end of this season I had gone to the mountain about seven or eight times. Somehow it always worked out that I chose weekends when the weather was perfect, chilly, but not cold, and just a light snowfall. Even though the weather was not great, these good winter days really made the skiing enjoyable. This seasons I was able to go with new friends which made these trips even more fun! After not skiing for two or three years learning it was difficult to get back into it. At first it was hard remember on how to ski, but once I started remembering how the movements worked I had such a great time. It was also nice to have a few friends skiing with me who were also learning how to ski. Lastly, It would amaze me every...

Spring 2016

Spring has finally arrived! The birds are chirping and the flowers have started to bloom. Where I am from the days are still quite chilly, but the warm sun is finally out with few clouds in the sky.  I wanted to write a post about how excited I am from Spring, the warmer weather, the snow melting, and the grounds turn to a beautiful shade of green. I was inspired by  @ SimplyLauren_E  (her Twitter) who is another blogger who makes such beautiful post about travel, books, lifestyle, and her last post was a quick post about spring, that I really enjoyed.  I am hoping that this summer I will be able to travel, and visit more, new places I have never been or seen before. I am also excited for Spring, because my birthday is at the end of it! It will be so nice to spend more time outside and I think I am most excited for the ice cream stands to open back up! Hope everyone has an amazing Spring 2016! Ryan xx (Lauren's Blog  simplylaurenelizabeth....

Easter Egg Nest Cupcakes:

This Easter I decided to try and make some Easter egg nests with vanilla cupcakes to sit on. First, I put together the vanilla cupcakes, which you can find the recipe on Tanya Burr's Youtube page (Just Search "Tanya Burr Chocolate Easter Nests" on YouTube). These were easy enough to make and I will say turned out quite well! It was an easy recipe too, not requiring many step, you basically just throw all the ingredients in the bowl and mix. Than I decide to take on the task of making the Easter egg nests, even though there are only two ingredients, chocolate and shredded wheat, this was the most difficult part of the while process. I found the recipe, basically what proportions of each to use, on Zoë's blog (www.zoella.co.uk). This task was most difficult, because you had to warm the chocolate up slowly without burning it. It took me a couple of attempts to not burn the chocolate and not boil the water to hard, but just to let it simmer. Also white chocolat...
